Font, color and images are all style choices that can set you apart from others. Command the internet with modern emails that show users you are on top of today’s trends. Staying relevant will not only demonstrate your ability to stay current, it will also keep users coming back for more. Here is our list of this year’s email trends.  Check them out and see how trendy your company really is.

Two Column Layouts
Most people are reading your email on their mobile device. For this reason, it is best practices to use a two-column layout that will flawlessly render for people on the go. Images will stack one on top of the other as the screen size narrows, creating a clean polished look. When you use a 2+ column layout you put your email at risk of improperly rendering, creating a distorted appearance.

Personalization Tags
Users enjoy feeling that their emails are tailormade for them and personalization tags are a terrific way to do this. According to Hubspot, "Emails that included the first name of the recipient in their subject line had higher click-through rates than emails that did not." Concise Content
Users want information from you that addresses what they need, NOT the extras! Play by the rule of sharing direct content that directs users to perform your desired task.

The Abandonment of Social Sharing Icons
While it is great in theory to give people the opportunity to share your content via social, no one is using it. This process is overly involved and users tend not to participate. Rather, include your social icons.
