Automating workflow and content publishing to members without lifting a finger is amazing, but what is more amazing is being nominated for the Best Email Newsletter Design and Engagement by The Canadian Online Publishing Awards (COPA)!
CPA Canada has done just that with their "Member News" automated newsletter that deploys once per month to each of their members delivering the content each member selects to receive based on their interests.
"Member News" was a labor of love that married web content RSS with an Aptify member interest taxonomy to deliver a hyper-personalized newsletter for each recipient/member. The HighRoad Solution Newsletter Express Plus+ application runs on a schedule to grab the email list, looks up each record in Aptify to determine their interests, then grabs the relevant content from the website CMS RSS feed and poof ... "It's like magic," says Member News Editor Mara Gulens. Each member gets their own unique newsletter, and no one had to lift a finger to send it.
